Melanie Smith was born in Poole (Great Britain) in 1965; lives and works in Mexico City, Mexico. Her collaboration with Marco Noire Contemporary Art started in May 2003 with her solo exhibition in Marco Noire Show Room.Melanie Smith's amazing images of Mexico City, shot from an helicopter circling over the top of the city, capture the congestion of its crammed streets and makeshift homes as an abstract pattern, creating order out of an intrisically chaotic and frenzied metropolis. |
