In For Once In My Life - 2004 is reported the first murder committed in the world of storks. A phrase taken from the ornithologist Carlo Vogt is shown on the wall. It tells of a pair of storks (monogamous animals) that one day are approached by a male stork. After some wariness the intruder starts a relationship with the female stork that becomes a duel and her life-long partner is murdered. The instant preceding the crime is depicted by Vedovamazzei with the use of colored neon lights that creates a poetical effect of circles in the waters of the pond. There the husband stork is alone in the middle of the lake and is about to be killed. |
